Ash, this great big softie Golden Retriever is a house guest for the next 2 weeks while his mommy and daddy are away on holiday. Sometimes I wonder if I'm crazy offering to take him in. As if I don't have enough to keep me far too busy already. But he's a very old boy and needs to be looked after with love...
@beckyk365 Yes Goldies are loveable. And Ash is no exception. It is a lot more work for sure - he insists on drinking from my dogs smaller water bowl, for example. Absolutely will not go to his own. And what a mess because he is too big for their bowl, there is water splashed all around as his tongue gulps down water. Plus I have to make sure to keep cleaning the water bowl and re-filling it. But it is for a limited time ...
