Petrol price increases midnight tomorrow night, so I thought I would beat the queues and go out today. Filling station is not far from the harbour so it was a no brainer to pop in there first in spite of the bitterly cold weather and intermittent rain showers. (our average dam levels across the province are higher now after these rains than they have been for the past 4 years with some dams at 100% and others at only 60% full)
@narayani Thanks very much. Yes it is great news about the dams. Petrol price ... well that's so volatile in this country we just have to grin and bear it
That blue is so eye-catching! That’s interesting that you know ahead of time when the prices are going to increase. I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason here. Our gas (petrol) prices are always higher in Pennsylvania because we have a lot of taxes on gas, compared to other states.
@beckyk365 Thanks Becky. I didn't realise the various states would have differing prices. So interesting how these things work. So you always fill your tank before you cross the state line when you are coming home again?
