All the boats are still in the harbour and there was no sign of life other than these young people obviously on holiday together. Discovered the reason why the harbour is deserted of local fishermen - it is the Fish Factory Rugby Union weekend. These folk are here from one of the fish factories on the East Coast and here for the weekend to take part in the rugby weekend ...
@beckyk365@narayani Thank you. I got chatting with these folk after I took this shot. They were thrilled and asked me to take some posed shots of them as well and send to their phones, which I did, as well as taking shots of them with their own phones. Although the weather was dull and grey and drizzly, they were here to have a good time and were just so happy with everything - really quite uplifting to be amongst such a happy mood. Made me glad I'm making myself go out and talk to random strangers!
