Natural Window Light challenge - still looking for something unique, something different, for the human figure or portrait in natural window light. And still fixated on trying to get my back view looking okay. I even found my old lace curtains and re-hung them in the lounge for privacy, and found they actually softened the light quite nicely
it's little details … I find this quite strong - it's opening questions about the subject within it. You need more space to left and right - and I'd take off the watch - and then possibly try it without the earring.
@anniesue Thanks so much for all the tips. I totally agree about the little details. I really liked this concept but realised the watch was definitely a no-no. However all the retakes without watch showed a bit of breast because I couldn't get the angle exactly right again. And I simply didn't have the courage to put anything like that out in public - which is why I decided to try sitting on a chair instead with an arm covering any exposure!
@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. I know the work of many of the photographers on the same group who will be entering so I know I cannot put together anything like that - but the only way to get to where they are is to try, try, and try again!
@narayani Thanks Narayani. It was actually good to have a reason to do it, and I had fun. There was a touch of sadness because I couldn't help thinking Don would have loved this whole project. He would have come up with great ideas and thrown his heart and soul into supporting whatever I was trying to do. And he would have loved seeing his wife prancing around the lounge with nothing on but panties!
