Went to visit some very special long time friends today, living in the little town of Riebeek Kasteel about 1.5 hours drive from me. We met at a business function when our daughters were tiny, many many years ago. The girls were friends for quite some years, and over the course of many play dates we, the parents, became good friends. The girls have grown apart as they've grown up, but our adult friendship has lasted about 25 years and they have been incredibly supportive and helpful when Don died.
