I have been totally off the radar again ever since last Thursday when I took the wreck photos in Langebaan. I was there to take Holly to the vet to have some rotting teeth removed. Unfortunately it seems they damaged her little throat putting tubes down during the anaesthetic, and the poor little tyke has had this horrible hacking cough ever since. That means I have hardly slept as I have been up continuously day and night dosing her to try and control the cough so I am moving in a haze of exhaustion. But I decided I had to go out and buy some plants as I need some colour in my garden and in my life. Couldn't resist this lovely red, and when I saw it is hardy, water-wise, and drought resistant it seemed a no brainer.
Sean gave me some of these for Xmas! I hope little Holly is getting better and you’re getting some sleep. It’s so hard when they aren’t well x (you were missed)
Yes I noticed you were missing in action! So sorry to hear about Holly, poor little girl!! You both need rest. This is a beautiful shot, love these plants.
