I decided to make myself pancakes today. First time in many years I have made them. Don took over the making of pancakes and much of the other cooking that he enjoyed when he retired about 13 years ago and there are some things I haven't had the heart to do since he died. But now I am taking baby steps to get beyond those psychological barriers. This batch wasn't something I would want to serve to guests. A bit thick in places and very soft - but they were yummy anyway. Should've taken the photo with my lemon but didn't think of it in time
@s4sayer Thanks Margo. Yes they did disappear faster than they should have. Had a few for breakfast - and then decided to have some more at lunch as they were sitting there under a plate calling my name.
Well done on all accounts. All these baby steps must feel overwhelming at times, but you did it. These look so delicious with all that cinnamon. Are they filled?
