Took Ed and Linda to Langebaan Yacht Club for lunch. Ed had done some maintenance jobs for me at home that Don would normally have done, so apart from giving him some money I wanted to show my appreciation that I can call on him to help me out. And it would have been Don's birthday today, and I just knew Don would have wanted to go to LYC. So here's Linda in front of the wreck I love so much. With a hat like sieve... I had no idea how to cope with taking a photo in these conditions - she insisted she could not be out in the sunshine without her hat and sunglasses. But looking at this image and the more solid shadow on the side of her face I think perhaps I should have moved myself round to the left and asked her to turn slightly to her right. I guess it's all part of the learning curve though! Happy Birthday Don.
