@phil_sandford Yes, I have been watching global events unfolding with dismay. When one compares the effects of this virus in China compared with Italy, it would appear that forcing people to stay in semi isolation seems the most effective way to flatten the curve of serious infections requiring intensive medical care

So happy that our President has finally commited Desi, the only way this country can survive!

@ludwigsdiana Yes I agree, Diana. Timing is really bad for me - I felt I have to offer my Easter booking a refund. But I can't complain I suppose. There are a lot of businesses and individuals who are losing a lot more income than I am. And it is the only way to try and deal with this pandemic

@seacreature Yes. As of 2030 UK time we’re in lock down. We can go out for work, medical or essential shopping. Other than that, stay at home.

We’re not in compulsory self isolation yet but it won’t be long. The state borders are closed. Stay safe and well Desi.

Different hotspots around the country are in lockdown. We’re not quite at that level but it wouldn’t surprise me if we are soon. I can hardly believe it’s happening.

@phil_sandford @narayani @beckyk365 @koalagardens It is great to hear what is happening elsewhere from the ordinary people's perspective rather than just from the news channels. To all my friends around the world, stay safe and well and stay in touch
