I seem to be stuck in a photographic rut lately - but it just kind of worked out this way. Today I decided to embark on a long overdue task of trimming back the basil - and so had to do my best to make a basil pesto with the limited ingredients I have in my house as I can't just "nip off to the shops" for pine nuts etc. now in lockdown. So as I was crushing up garlic and basil leaves in the mortar I decided to interrupt what I was doing for yet another shot.

I must say I did enjoy my pasta dinner last night and tonight with pesto @ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. It sure is nice - and at least I'm getting some fresh greens now I've run out of fresh veg.
