I mowed my lawns again today with my ancient little lawn mower. I am finding I actually enjoy mowing my lawn myself. It doesn't look very professional, but it will do, and it makes me feel so at one with my garden
@narayani Thanks. I am trying to get my lawn to grow again to keep the sand and dust coming into the house to a minimum. I think it is working - except now I need to dig some beds around the edges and find a way to stop the dogs getting into the beds as I want to mix veg for the table with flowers for brightening up my view
