By now it's lost most of its seeds so that made it easier to focus than a sphere. Struggled a bit with composition as I really liked the yellow flower but the heights just weren't working. I think perhaps I need to look out for another weed in someone's lawn and pluck them for another try...
I really like this composition, the fact that it's not a perfect circle makes it more appealing to my eyes. I also like how the yellow reflects up the stalk.
@pattyblue Thank you. I would have preferred the composition if the yellow flower had been just a little bit higher so I could get the bottom of it in without cutting off those curly bits ..
@narayani Thank you very much. The black background is one of those lightweight polystyrene trays that they use in this country to pack small vegetables onto. Instead of throwing them into the recycle, I wash them and use them a while for backgrounds. The white ones get used as reflectors when I get any of those.
