I decided to go up the little bank on the side of the path along the river and found a whole field of white flowers with some yellow in between. I didn't escape that big black cloud overhead but I'm not a sugar cube so I didn't melt, although I did tuck my camera under my jacket to try and keep the rain off it, and I did hurry the dogs home again
@koalagardens Thank you. The West Coast flowers are very pretty this time of year @narayani Yes the sky was ominous. I love the winter skies. Up on the West Coast we don't get much cloud in summer (unlike Cape Town), as it is much more arid here so we have mostly blue skies, therefore clouds are special for me @beckyk365 Thanks very much, Becky @ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. Yes there were thousands of cormorants flying up river although it was still early in the day. Only just after noon. I wondered if perhaps the ominous weather brings them home to roost early rather than being out at sea in a storm?
