At 7 months old Maddy is being allowed to "feed" herself much of her solid foods. Her main food of course is still milk, but she is learning about food and taste and texture, and she is also learning to get the food to her mouth. She loves her mealtimes, and actually manages to ingest a surprising amount - although there is a bit of mess to clean up when she's done.
