@narayani Yes that is what I remember too - we didn't have the luxury of a swimming pool - in fact I don't think many people had private pools back then? The public pool was the place to socialise and meet friends when we grew up a bit
@ludwigsdiana It didn't seem to be slippery - I never saw any of the many kiddies who were dashing around in the enclosure looking like they were in danger of slipping - they probably have some non slip surface on the floor? Barry was the only parent in there because Madison is just so little still to leave her alone amongst the bigger kiddies. I don't think they would have meant any deliberate harm but children don't think of consequences when they are having fun
