It is so hot here at the moment, and Madison has a seriously bad rash on her arm and tummy. Doc thought it was a heat rash at first but now says it is actually an allergy rash, but never the less we are trying to keep her as cool as possible by putting nothing on her except a nappy. She loves climbing onto this rocking chair in her bedroom, sometimes with her doll, but today she pointed at her books and made demanding noises while Granny passed her one book after another, only to be met with a shake of the head, until she was satisfied she had the one she wanted.
I hope it clears quickly. Sean had bad exzema at this age…I used to give him “porridge baths”…soothing his skin with oats in a sock. It helped a little, though I’m sure there are specific creams now, and he did grow out of it.
@narayani Oh wow, I haven't heard of porridge baths or oats in a sock before. It is certainly worth trying. The "itch" creams they have been prescribed don't seem to be making much difference to be honest
