At last the rain came. Two days later than Cape Town. It only started last night, but the downpour was really heavy with thunder and lightning and it had filled my rain guage by this afternoon and topped the pool up to the brim. In a 24 hour period we had 80mm and then some sunshine for a little while late this afternoon, but I can hear it raining again tonight.
Lovely shot and reflection. We had three days of massive downpours, 260 mm in 36 hours. Half of Somerset West and Stellenbosch is flooded. Lucky you got so little.
