My favourite stopover place because the accommodation suits me just fine, it is reasonably priced, the farmer and his wife go out of their way to make their guests comfortable in the various cottages, and I am a country girl at heart
@narayani@koalagardens Thanks very much @ludwigsdiana It is a farm about 10km on the Cape Town side of Britstown (N12) called Rooidam Cottages. If you ever want to go there I will give you the owner's contact details so you can book directly with them instead of going through one of the travel portals onto which commission gets added. They have at least 4 different units that I know of. I have stayed in 3 of them. There is one that I don't much like, but the other two are fabulous in different ways.
