After a stifling hot day yesterday, today is cool, almost cold, and misty. I saw these fishermen coming in as I was about to walk away with the dogs and snapped a few shots. The guy in the green overalls called across the water to me, "we don't mind you taking photos". I responded with some light hearted banter and so we got to chatting. It transpires these fishermen earn their living fishing and go out every day to catch fish. This morning they were up at 4am as usual and heading out to sea, but 1km out to sea they decided the swell was just too big to risk in their little boat and turned back empty handed. It is quite interesting to start getting little insights into the lives of other people - so very different from my own life.
