Although I had my camera with me I didn't take any real photos today as I spent almost the entire day sitting at Nissan waiting for a small repair job on my car and a quote for the electric window that stopped working while I was in Johannesburg. The nuisance is it's the driver window so I have to open my door to get the parking ticket at a shopping mall parkade for example. The quote for a new motor for the window was more than double what I thought it might be so I have to consider my options very carefully as my car is about 18years old now...

I know what you mean about repairs on older cars. Sometimes it can be a bit of a waste. Sometimes it’s good to spend the money because what you have is reliable and you at at least know what the problems are. Buying another car can be so stressful if you’re like me and have no knowledge about them.
