Took the dogs for a walk at the harbour again today after the long drive back from the vet in Vredenburg where I had taken Charlie early this morning to have his teeth cleaned under anaesthetic. Just doing a detour to the harbour on the way home again was lazy but I didn't have much energy. Had set an alarm for 3:45am to get up and take my car out of the garage so that I would be able to leave home by 7:30am to have Charlie at the vet by 8am. The reason for the ridiculous time to get out of bed and take my car out was due to loadshedding from 4am - 8:30am this morning (and then again from 12noon to 4:30pm this afternoon, and again tonight from 8pm ....). Unless I have planned and prepared for loadshedding like this, my car is trapped until power comes on again.

Yes indeed, it was a very expensive vet visit, and he's on antibiotics and anti -inflammatories for 5 days as there were two teeth that were very inflamed. At least she didn't extract any teeth so all is well.

Lovely harbour scene. Hope Charlie’s teeth are ok now. That would have been an expensive vet visit 😕
@narayani Charlie seems absolutely fine, thanks. Yes indeed, it was a very expensive vet visit, and he's on antibiotics and anti -inflammatories for 5 days as there were two teeth that were very inflamed. At least she didn't extract any teeth so all is well.
