Normally there is quite a wide path along the left hand edge of where the water is, and a huge stretch of marshy wetland between the river and the path - but now it is all deep under water during this high tide. I only had my 50mm lens with me on my walk so this is 3 images stitched together
@Dawn Thank you @anniesue Well the moon in general has a very visible effect on the tides so I guess it is no surprise that when the moon is closer to earth than usual it will have a much greater effect
