Watching Maddy through the dining room window while I was folding laundry this morning. She was being so good keeping herself occupied all on her own for a good 45 minutes. Shortly after this I took the net off the swimming pool and rewarded her with a "big girl swim" with me
@ludwigsdiana Yes we are very blessed to have the pool, and she is becoming reasonably good at getting around in the pool although I can hardly call it swimming yet. I am still there with her every second of the time the net is off the pool "just in case"
@anniesue It is lovely that she can entertain herself for short stretches of time and I try and encourage it by deliberately leaving her alone when all is going well
@narayani Indeed it is. And very important too, for an only child. And I also like that it means she is using her own imagination instead of relying on the imagination of a video creator ...
