January 13th

I had the pleasure of driving from Leek to Chesterfield today. I was fighting the midday light but found this enchanting view near Longnor. Then when I processed it I spotted Postman Pat's van driving down the hill!! I will be back to this area at some point, for sure!!

Lovely! I spotted the Peak District straight away from the january thumbnails! I guess you drove past the Ramshaw Rocks and Roaches - that's where I grew up, with those rocks as my playground and now I live in Leek with a view over them. My Grandparents lived in Longnor for many years so it's an area I spent a lot of time in. It's definitely worth going back - maybe a walk up Parkhouse and/or Chrome Hill!
