January 20th

To St. Pancras Station for the train home. This railway station makes me proud to be British, I could take 365 photos here alone, so watch this space, I pass through regularly!! A very good friend of mine taught me this cool technique. Robin, here's to you mate, you're a far more talented amateur photographer than me, and a nice bloke to boot!!
Agreed Sean - it's a fantastic bit of regeneration. I worked on CTRL project up to 2003 and it was all drawings and computer generated images back then. Such a great buzzing place to go now and people watch, take pictures, shop, eat, drink... maybe even travel :) Did you see the lego christmas tree?

Don't know about that mate. I've seen nothing but top notch photographs here (and it's only January)!

nice capture... I like the way the lines compliment the photo

Great lines and shutter speed, was this purely down to a low ISO and high aperture value or did you use an ND at all?

@sporter85 Hi Sam, glad you like it. No just a steady hand balanced on the balcony in the champagne bar, very high f/stop f/22 and an exposure of about a second. You do need your focal point to be someone stood or sat still though.

@seanoneill Nice one, may have to give this a try sometime once I find a suitable location, don't think my hands would be steady enough for my liking though

@sporter85 If you find something to balance the camera on you should be ok, I am the original Sausage Fingers with the DTs, so have a go you never know!!! I think a wide angle lens sat on a table outside a coffee shop would do the job too.
