Thanks Simon, not pin sharp, but the light was going and I sacrificed a bit of speed for aperture! My 12 year old took an even better one on his Nikon!! I got a few good contre jour and other shots today too, but Big Bucks had to be the one. 1 more win and he equals the record of consecutive wins by a British racehorse. March 15th, and I've got a ticket!! Can't wait.
I would love to do some shots like these, i agree with you about not pin sharpe, but you get a great sense of speed. Cant wait to see some more on March 15th.
The races are a great place to shoot Simon, and you get left alone as long as you aren't using a flash and scaring the horses. In another life I would have been a snapper for the Racing Post.
