His and hers walking frames

I wanted to only take 1 photograph today. I wandered down the village high st at lunchtime and nothing caught my eye, then as I was leaving the office this sweet old couple walked by.

They were chatting away to each other as happy as can be. I have processed by B+W, cropped and added some noise.

So mission accomplished, 1 photo, and today's shot is in the bag.
Nicely done! Love candid, humorous takes on life but I'm not very brave. Spotted a fat dog tied up outside a shop under a poster for low fat yogurts but was driving past so had to let it go!

@pictureitbig Thanks, I know, it is so frustrating when you see a shot and can't get it.

Aww i love this!.....Theres something so precious about an elderly couple who have stuck together all those years!!

@annbo Thanks Ann, that is what I thought. They reminded me of my Grandparents, who are sadly no longer with us. Neither of my GPs walked with a frame, but there was just something about these 2 that made me smile and feel all warm and fuzzy!!

@diederikjfouche @lisjam1 Thanks guys, I appreciate your comments. Lisa, I am lucky enough to live in a village and work in another village, so we walk a lot. We even walked over the hills to the pub in the next village on sunday!!

@seanoneill My brother lived in Germany for a year for work, and loved the fact that you could just walk everywhere or take public transportation. Things here are just too spread out.

@lisjam1 @simon0128 Thanks Lisa and Simon. Germany is an amazing country for public transport Lisa. Petrol is nearly £7-00 a gallon over here, or $11-00 in your money, so we walk if we can!!!
