Quintessentially British ~ 1

Many rural road signs in the UK look like this. They haven't changed for generations, and I love them.

I think a series of Quintessentially British photos over the next few weeks could replace the Cockney Rhyming Slang for a while.
i would love to see some quintessentially British photos. Love this road sign. Nice perspective. Are they usually black and white like this?

@nikkig Cheers Nikki, I appreciate your comment about my eye!! Funny the things we love about our great country. Wooden road signs are a great example of if it ain't broken don't fix it. I love them. I would love to do a photobook just with these in!! Weird I know!!

@prosigma You are right Paul, it would be sad if anyone were alienating anyone else just by posting shots of their own homeland. Ilove seeing the work of others from all around the world, it gives me a context for them, and long may it continue.

I agree with the others, the POV and colors are great in this shot. Did you have to lay down on the ground to get this?

I must agree with the folks above, great POV Sean! Love that sunlight and the bright yellow & blue. Cute hand-lettered sign too. :)
