A month's rain in a day

The wet weather continues in East Leake.

Today we've had a month's rain in a day.

A shot of my Umbrella. I used it to try and stay dry when I went to find a nice wet flower in the garden. Sadly every flower is bedraggled, sad, half dead. When I looked up I saw the rain drops on my umbrella and knew I had my shot for the day. It is a rather tatty, 10 year old brolly, but it still does a job.

Two games of cricket tonight, both cancelled. District Cup Final will now be decided by the toss of a coin probably because the league say we are too far behind after postponing 5 times because of weather. A great example of kid's suffering at the hands of administrator's rules,

Terrible weather but at least you got a very nicely composed semi-abstract b&w umbrella photo. Probably not much consolation. But it's a great photo! :)
