Sam played for our adult 3rd team, and they clinched promotion with a win. Fantastic.
My U13 team lost the county final by 3 wickets by Countesthorpe CC. There is no shame in that and they can all hold their heads high, being the first team from Kegworth Town CC to ever reach a Leicestershire County Final. Here they all are with their runners up trophies, my team the second best team in Leicestershire.
We now have a break until annual awards night in 2 weeks and then winter nets start in february 2013, so this is probably one of my last cricket shots for my 365 diary. I have enjoyed sharing this important and rewarding part of my life with you all.
