Well, the Big Fella has been gone for a 10 days now, and boy are we missing him. This shot is a tribute to him, and allows you to peer into my mind too!
I love nothing more for breakfast than some lovely creamy scrambled eggs (please note @fannyb and @happypat ) , but I can't stand scrambled eggs and beans together. The Big Fella however, loves both together. I think it is like baby food!! On monday though, as a tribute to him, I had both for my breakfast!
Sam has sent us regular text messages and instagrams, and is having an amazing time. I can't wait to see him on monday evening and hear all about his time in China, and see his photos. If he will let me, I will post a few of his shots!
We stayed in the recently refurbished Aysgarth Falls Hotel. The welcome, food, beer and accomodation was wonderful, so if you are ever in The Dales I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We will definitely be back.
We were lucky enough to spot a photo exhibition of shots of The Beatles when we passed through Leyburn at The Wensleydale Gallery. If you are passing before 18th November, take 15 minutes to pop in and view it. It is a piece of music and photographis history and free to view, though a limited edition framed print will set you back £1900.
Note taken!!! The secret is gentle cooking!!! and all teenagers bedrooms should be left as were!! I think boys are better than girls..I could never even see the carpet when mine were at home!!
Oh such fun to see your breakfast, I'm sure Fanny likes looking at other breakfasts too!!!!! Lovely looking scrambled eggs & I like the touch of the beans separate, I don't do beans unless anybody asks which I am very happy to do but I hate them & think they are a bit''caff'' !
So glad Sam is enjoying all his travels , he will have so much to tell you when he gets back...I'm sure you have provided him with a decent camera!!!!
@fannyb@happypat thank you ladies, you are both so lovely aren't you? I'll confess, I ate the eggs and only ate the beans when the eggs were gone. Now how are we going to choose who to stay with first? I think you will have to play rock, paper, scissors ;))
What a delicious looking breakfast and I love how this is a tribute to Sam, you obviously have a very close relationship with him. Monday will soon be here, I'm sure you can't wait!
