Pannetone with added bokeh...

Today we were due to go with several families for a long walk circling the village, but the dreadful weather and return of the floods has done for it!

So, instead we are all converging on one of our friends houses to continue the eating, drinking and being merry part of Christmas instead.

We are taking this Pannetone. Rebecca has just sliced and filled it with a cream, marscapone and custard combination, with fresh raspberies folded in.

Having licked the spoon and sampled a little offcut, I know that it is delicious already!

I hope that as many of you as possible are continuing festivities and having fun.

@cathy366 The Panetonne was shop bought Cathy. It was so scrummy too!!! One of my Italian friends loved this shot so much that she swapped me a fantastic home made lasagna for an emailed copy of the photo!! She is as mad as a sack of frogs!!
