Shot from above on a piece of black velvet with a hole cut in it. My flash was positioned underneath to creat the light effect.

Gosh, this really does the sea urchin justice, now you can really appreciate the beautiful patterns on it. Cleverly done and very accomplished! My son has some white porcelain 'sea urchins' , you place them over tea lights and I covet them!
