Coastal Wind Farm ~ 3 by seanoneill

Coastal Wind Farm ~ 3

Another shot, and very different interpretation of the Wind Farm off Skegness.

This shot has had minimal processing, unlike the other 2.

Pretty good large against the black background
Ah, I see the ocean now. Love that you got figures in here and pooches:)!

Lovely composition Sean. Love how the turbines have such an ethereal quality

This is so good too Sean, the composition is lovely, you have such talent!
February 17th, 2013
This is good! Puts the sheer size of those turbines into perspective, having the people and pets walking in front.
February 17th, 2013
Very nice composition.

This is a stunner, Sean - those turbines in the ocean seem other-worldly. Could be a scene from a science fiction movie except this is life in 2013 - amazing.

There have been debates for years about putting turbines out on the ocean where we live, but it disturbs the view, From what i have read it is a viable source of energy that needs more exploring, I personally think it looks cool!

Great shot, excellent composition

Love the people and dog on the shoreline. Great contrasts with the turbines.
February 17th, 2013
amazing you can hardly distinguish between the sea and sky....never seen turbines off shore before............lovely
February 17th, 2013
I love this shot -- the perspective you captured from the people in front back to the windmills. Wonderful!
February 17th, 2013
Great shot, love the sense of space
February 17th, 2013
A beautiful shot, lovely colours.
February 17th, 2013
Looks great - I remember seeing them through the mist at Gt Yarmouth when the sea was almost totally flat grey....they seemed to appear and disappear at random. Spooky cool!
February 17th, 2013
They look like they are sticking out of the water. Great POV and composition!! The people made a lovely addition to the shot.

@ingrid2101 my heart skipped a beat when I read your comment Ingrid. You have no idea how chuffed I am to receive such a wonderful comment from a photographer with your talent. Thank you so much.
February 17th, 2013
@seanoneill Haha Sean, I don't feel like that when I see your work! So I'm chuffed that you feel like that!
February 17th, 2013
I like this version best Sean, the colours are so fresh & the people walking along the beach stand out so well ....beautiful composition & balance. A fave.
February 17th, 2013
Great composition Sean
February 17th, 2013
Nice composition Sean

Think I prefer this one with the human story going on in the foreground, but am really interested in the way you are experimenting further with your processing.
February 17th, 2013
The blend of blues is startling, and it makes those wind turbines jump off the screen. Perfect positioning for the people and dogs.
February 18th, 2013
The wind turbines look almost ethereal against the blues.
February 18th, 2013
Love the blue tones here and the layers created by the waves. That looks like a fascinating place. Still thinking about your other more processed shot, which is awesome awesome awesome

@stuckinoz Thank you Janelle. Would happily send you a copy of the other one. I am thinking of putting it on a canvas.

@stuckinoz If you want to email me at seans365@hotmail.co.uk I will send you back a hi res file of both colour and B+W. I will need to tidy up the colour one a bit. first and am just heading to a function in London, so it would be later tomorrow before I manage it. It would be an honour to know that you have stuck a shot of mine on your wall. Thank you.

@seanoneill Cool. Thanks so much. I'll email you now... have a good trip to London. Wish I was heading into London, instead of stuck here in rainy Brisbane

The composition is brilliant on this. Really nice
February 18th, 2013
I've never seen them in the water. They look quite at home and very pretty against the blue.
February 20th, 2013
They look a little alien popping out of the sea like that. Love the blues.
