February 24th

A deliberately blurred picture of Ben at the beach from my archive, processed via the Film Noir preset of Silver Efex Pro.

WIll my desire to pick up my camera ever return? It has been 9 days now!
I really like this, the angle, reflection, light... everything. fav

Your just having a lull, I'm sure it will come back. You are far to good to hang up your camera for good x
February 24th, 2013
Busy times don't help either, I can empathis with that at the moment :-( x

I am sure it will be back. Great noir effect on the shot.

Love this Sean - great processing. Buy a disposable film camera !! Wait for them to be developed - that's exciting. You will get the urge back - your work is lovely - very varied and you're good at whatever you do!!

Cool!!! Yes you will get the urge to pick up the camera again! I had a bit of a hiatus for a couple of months! Sometimes you just need a break

I can learn almost everything I need to know just by watching what you're doing with Silver Efex. I have just begun using it a bit, so love seeing what you've done!

This is a great and different shot of a normally humdrum shot well done
February 25th, 2013
@ingrid2101 wow do they still make those? Used to be great for weddings....lovely processing Sean.in fact everything about it is cool!!
February 25th, 2013
Love the moody atmosphere. Cool edit.
February 25th, 2013
@fannyb I bought a whole pile in boots and reduced waterproof ones for the bargain price of £1:50!!
February 25th, 2013
Well it doesn't matter Sean for the moment as you still have plenty to show us. I lost my mojo too at one point & I think it comes to us all at times so don't worry. Perhaps the spring & Summer will inspire you again. Interesting lines & shadows.
February 25th, 2013
Pick up your camera Sean!! Must say, though, isn't it great to know you can post the shots that missed out on their day! year 2 is fab for that.
This is brilliant - very atmospheric!

February 27th, 2013
I'm nearly three weeks behind with your project Sean, sorry my friend. This one's a little cracker in my opinion, and a fav. Ingrid has a good point about that disposable camera ...

@automaticslim Thanks Andy, no problem, I've been playing catch up this last week after a few weeks without having time to comment. I've been shooting on B+W since this shot, and very happy with life again, though Efex Pro is a huge part of it as well. I may well buy a disposable though.

Glad you've got your phojo back Sean, not sure where mine's got to just recently. I've really enjoyed going through this album (two more to go ...) and it seems that Silver Efex is working out well for you. Wish that Nik would do a Linux build, it would save me a lot of time.
