Barn with tree ~ Peak District 1

I enjoyed a great day in The Peak District yesterday, and managed to get one or two half decent photos.

I met up with an old neighbour for lunch. He moved with his family up to the Macclesfield area a couple of years ago, so it was great to catch up.

This barn was off a minor road near Youlgreave.

I will post a colour version of this shot in another album.

I do like this Sean.. the barn, the tree, the foreground and clouds work together perfectly. Now sit down........ I prefer the colour version! But only because I think including so much sky works better in blue than black. If the top third here were cropped off I think I would prefer this version. Just a matter of taste.
