A group of lads sat on the top of Brighton Beach on thursday, with the sea mist beyond them.
After Brighton Rebecca and I went up to London and saw Leonard Cohen last night at the O2. 79 years old and a 3 hour set. If I can remember my name when I'm 79 I will view that as success.
A very late night drinking in the bar at the hotel until 2am followed by a 7-30 start this morning. Early night tonight before heading to Edgbaston to se England tomorrow in the Champion's Trophy Final.
Well done to the British Lions. Will have to play better to win the next one!!
@seanoneill i think it was last year they had booked & then something happened & it was put back. I have never seen him & do not know his music but they are very keen...ah now I remember it was moved to London for some reason, they live in Litchum in Norfolk so originally in some park or something nearer there. he is getting on in age then you mean...i thought he looked in his fifties?
Takes me back, love his music and poetry. My husband thinks it is music to cut your throat by. ( he has no taste!) this shot could have been taken when he first released Marianne. Very nostalgic ! Enjoy the rest of your busy weekend.
