Harringworth Viaduct ~ 3 by seanoneill

Harringworth Viaduct ~ 3

Trains cross Harringworth Viaduct very infrequently, but 2 did while we were there yesterday!

This freight train was hauling steel plate rolls I think. Processed in SEfexP and Film Noir.

Just like the days from my childhood, when we waved to the driver he waved back and tooted his horn!!

Thanks for all the good wishes to Ben this week, and ofr a speedy recovery for my shoulder injury, it is much better now thanks.

A busy day today, the hottest day of the year! Up delivering beer at 7-30am, team haircuts for me, Sam and Ben at 9am, lots of jobs, running Sam 25 miles up the motorway to play cricket, then preparing for 10 friends who I am BBQing for this evening! Then cricket tea duty tomorrow!!

Will catch up with you all when I can.
The processing suits the viaduct so well - and the train is perfect - weekend sounds v.busy - hope it's a good one

nice shot - love it when train drivers wave to you - quite a few of them do when I acknowledge them at a foot crossing near where I live - was an amazing day - and more to come
