This is the castle of Hohenaschau in Aschau in Bavaria.To the left are the lower parts of Kampenwand, the mountain that towers above Aschau.
My sister in law Victoria bought an apartment in Aschau in 2006, but sadly was taken from us by skin cancer on this day in 2008 aged 39. She loved to sit on her patio and take in the view of the Kampenwand.
Though it was 5 years ago, Victoria's absence still hurts all of us, we all feel bleak and ask why?
I will always miss you mate, I will always ask why, I will always do my best for Matthew and Jono.
So sorry to learn of your loss and sadness. Victoria was obviously a wonderful and much loved person who lives on in your memories. But dreadfully sad, nevertheless.
