To all of you who finished Y1 today, many congratulations, I hope you are going to hang around for Y2.
I decided not to make a fuss as I am aiming for a year of B+W in late Feb 2014, that will be my landmark day.
I took my new camera to the Ice Hockey today. This is a heavily zoomed and cropped shot from my seat in row U on the other side of the ice. It is an incredible camera to create such detail at such a low f stop as f/2.0 from about 200ft away!! I am so excited about getting to some of my old landscape haunts with it!!
Happy New Year to everyone, I wish you all a peaceful and prosperous 2014. A big thanks from Sam for the birthday wishes sent by so many yesterday. He had a great day!
Sounds like a great camera, the results are impressive. Many thanks for all your kind comments and support of my project Sean and I wish you and your family a healthy and happy 2014. Oh and I know you don't want a fuss but big congrats on getting to the end of year 2, a wonderful achievement.
Happy completing year two, Sean. Looking forward to seeing more of your great images in 2014.
A belated Happy Birthday to Sam, hope he enjoyed his first driving lesson.
Finally - happy new camera, you've done a pretty impressive job with it already!
Congratulations, Sean and Happy New Year - hope it's a great one for you and your family. Thank you for sharing all you wonderful photos - and huge thank you for all your kind and encouraging comments through the year. Here's to 2014 - so glad you're staying around for a third year.
So impressed with the detail in this photo with the Fuji.
Ooh this looks good, superb clarity on the image. Happy new year to you and yours. And I wanted to say thank you for all your support through my project so far, it has been much appreciated.
It looks great! There was a time when I went to a lot of hockey games, but where I live now there are few sports above the high school level, and my interests have gone to other activities. This brings back memories.
A belated Happy Birthday to Sam, hope he enjoyed his first driving lesson.
Finally - happy new camera, you've done a pretty impressive job with it already!
So impressed with the detail in this photo with the Fuji.
