Out of the door at 7-45am to collect beer from 2 breweries at the other end of Leicestershire for the Beer Festival I am organising at my kids chool tomorrow night. Nearly 400 people coming, no pressure there!
Then it was into the office with a very quick detour via Loughborough for some more backstreets shots and Mere Hill as the weather was changing form stormy to sunshine.
Set up my new laptop (windows 8 aargh, think I'll be reinstalling XP next week!), a couple of Skype conference calls and then home to catch the tail end of the Sochi opening ceremony.
I managed to catch Mere Hill with some great cloud formations rolling by, whilst behind me the sun was out to bathe the hill in light.
Wishing you all a good weekend, I will be happier tomorrow night when all the beer has sold!!
@cdonohoue Its a great light small notebook Cathy, but Windows 8 is just atrocious!!! designed by someone who has forgotten that there are customers who just want their PC to be nice and simple,
I have windows 7 and am perfectly happy with that. I love my laptop. I have a perfectly good computer upstairs that I rarely touch because it just isn't as convenient as this one.
Those clouds are super Sean, lovely shot. Heard so many people moan about Windows 8, I'll stick with my Mountain Lion or whatever it's called! Good Luck tomorrow and all the best for Ben next week.
Love the way the clouds are dominating the landscape - almost sitting on it!
Hope you get chance to catch your breath before the event and that all goes well.
Beautiful.......love the clouds......fav! I've just bought a laptop (Windows 8) to use just for simple web browsing and watching NetFlix.....still trying to find my way around :-)
I don't know why Windows can't leave well enough alone. Hope you like your new computer.
Hope you get chance to catch your breath before the event and that all goes well.
Apple every time! Hope the beer festival goes well, lots of satisfied customers I 'm sure.
Windows 8 - eek! ;)
