We popped down to Stratford yesterday to see Henry IV Part 1. It was fabulous, Sir Anthony Sher's Falstaff was an absolute joy. Looking forward to Part 2 in June.
On the way, we diverted to a place that has been on my list for a while.
Chesterton Windmill is south of Leamington Spa, and though in the midle of a farmer's field, you can walk up to and around it.
A few more shots in other albums and over the next few days. Colour version in album 2.
Dashing off to Birmingham to see Aston Villa v Southampton with Sam, Ben, Matthew and Jono.
I'm going to spend an hour catching up with as many of my friends recent photos as I can now. I am very methodical, so will carry on with any I miss over the next few days!!
Oh wow, this is awesome too. Something about the clouds in this one … gives the horizon a really deep, endless feeling. Stunning. And I've noticed for the first time the shadow of the blade on the windmill too. I actually think I like this one better!!
Super shot of a well known landmark. Strangely I'm in Warwick at the moment visiting my son, daughter in law and their two children so am not far from Chesterton!
