All my worldly goods. by seanoneill

All my worldly goods.

A homeless person at the top end of Carnaby St in London.

Homelessness shames us, though I concede readily that there are many worse things in the world that shame humanity more, especially lately.
It's good to see you back. This is a very emotive shot. Fav

I agree Sean , no one should have to live like this but as alwYs every thing is more complex than it looks.....the news is so depressing lately...we live in a troubled world. Like your stark black & white here..... Those supermarket trollies do sterling work!

@happypat @dh Thank you both. Every day the news plumbs the depths of our depravity, our inhumanity to our own species. Homelessness seems very trivial in comparison, but this guy may not agree.

A strong powerful image Sean and unfortunately tells the story only too well. So many injustices in this world!

Great 'portrait' - captures so many emotions.

Really emotive shot - I empathise with all your comments regarding the state of the world, I fear for our children and grandchildren.

Tis shot should be seen widely, can't believe that homelessness is growing.

Very gritty pic, I don't know if I am seeing more homeless people in my town or I am just much more aware of it than I was when I was younger and too full of my own importance to notice what was going on around me.

Such a striking shot

I always feel so sad for them... there but for the grace of God go any of us. Very emotional shot Sean.

Very emotive shot. Sadly it seems to be an increasingly common sight again.

A moving picture. Very striking and that becomes so clear because it is also a technically brilliant picture. Great composition and beautiful lighting.

This shot brought me to tears---:(

Speaks volumes, Sean. I usually like to say why I like an image. Here I feel so moved I'm just going to shut up and fav it.

Love the gritty feel of this one. Seems to be an increasing problem

Sean, this is so disturbing, but sadly all too common. I have a few shots I've taken like this but never posted. I always feel awkward about it. It's so important, though, to show the reality of today's world.

Heart-rending. The mark of an un-civil society! We are all going to hell in a hand cart. As for the photograph, a FAV! what else?

My heart goes out to these people, in fact, your photo here makes me realise how fortunate I am. This shot depicts the situation well.
