Another shot from the Art of the Brick Lego exhibition.
This one is called My Boy and is based on the story of a freind of the artist.
With all the health problems that Ben has had over the years, and the recent loss of a new born baby in my family, I find this a very moving piece of art.
I can imagine that it must have moved you - it's a very moving piece even when one has not had experiences like yours and your family's.
I think if I was the creator(s) of the Lego brick I would be remarkably proud that someone could take my creation and make such thought-provoking and emotional work with it.
