Today is a day that has been almost 23 years in the making.
My son Sam leaves home to start work in Bristol on Monday.
I am so excited for him, watching him make his way in the world is giving me so much pleasure. Its bittersweet though. I love him with all my heart and will miss him so much. I am so grateful for the bonus year we've had with him at home since he graduated.
Yes indeed Sean....I remember how you always are so proud of your boys so good to catch up on Sam. I wish him great success in his working life....hope he finds his chosen career fascinating & that you get used to the absent place at your table! As long as they are happy that’s all that matters!
It's s very special time. My daughter has just graduated and is about to start work for a mental health charity in London. My son is soon to start university in Southampton. The house is going to seem very empty.
