Here is a shot from my walk today at one of our local country parks of the brass plate that points to local places that in theory you can see from the viewpoint.
We have a Beacon Fell which is 872 feet & has a similar brass plate on the beacon summit. Very popular with walkers, our kids went to school just below at the village school. Would be a great walk this lovely weather!
