Of course you leave us all wondering what the scene would look like from further out! What a great set up this was for you...but you always capture the best city scenes!
By the way, re my portrait b/w shot last week: i was showing him this project and various folk on here, including your good self and your street shots. He visited there in 94 and remarked on how friendly and exciting a city it was, and to say "hello". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Blumler
He was interested in the increase of social interaction and spread of photography in the 'digital age' .. so hi from him!
@sleepdozer57 Hi to Jay. Nice to hear he has good feelings of this city. You know I love this area! How fun to be able to discuss the topic of increased social networking interaction and the increase of photographers due to the change of the technology. What impact has this created on the interaction of the community and the truth in communication of the image. (Just some things I would like to discuss with him! Ha...) Hope he liked your portrait and thanks so much for sharing. I need to take a trip to Leeds to meet all you wonderful people!
@seattle ..will be passing on your hi!
i know, it was great to chat about that: and a fraction impact on people's everyday life is the increase of photos being taken socially (like 365/iphones etc), cctv and mass cable tv filming/reality shows etc. What is 'good/bad' just different is open to debate..
