Rain, clouds equals low or no outdoor color ops. I found these colorful planters at West Seattle Nursery. Thanks for the visits. You all inspire me with your great photographs.
I love these little planters but the holes concern me. Won't the soil & water just fall through the holes or do you plant tiny plants through the holes.
@janiskay Janice, see through planter liners are used to contain the soil...I personally don't want any extra work :) so I would not purchase these particular planters.
These could really perk up a patio or a sun room - I can see the idea of a clear liner - you wouldn't really notice it when filled with soil. They sure are cheery. We're having the same kind of afternoon - grey! (Nice morning lasted until 10:00)
That is a lot of extra work with planters like this, but they make for some bright and cheerful planters when planted. I think it would be cute to plant violets in the holes or other such plants. The photo is really cheery and our day tomorrow will be like yours, cloudy then rain, then thunderstorms! ALL day tomorrow! So no color for me either! FAV!
