My niece's home has a cozy small entry room before going through another door into the main home entry. Built in benches, mirrors, windows are on both sides of the entry room. This shot is of one side of the entry room. Seattle had torrential rains, thunder and lightning, winds yesterday...felt good :). Thanks for your comments and visits.
I remember houses that had a separate entry room form living back east, which if you think about it, every house in the PNW should have one for the winter time. I always thought the "mud room" was at the back of the house and the entry room in the front. older days.
