Puget Sound and Elliott Bay are the main waterways for ferries that cross from the mainland to the many islands in western WA. This shot was taken a few days ago while I was walking on Alki Ave which is the main avenue that goes around to Alki Beach. Thanks for your views and comments. Have a great weekend.
This looks familiar, and so pretty. My cousin used to live right on the water. Can't remember the name of the community, but you had to take two ferries from Vancouver to get there..... We loved sitting out in their back yard wand watching the ferries, log pulling barges, etc. go by.
